Passu Peak

Passu peak is situated at the extreme west of Batura Muztagh in upper Hunza beyond Passu village. At a distance of about one hundred kilometers from Chinese border and 150 kilometers from Gilgit, it is clearly visible on the Karakoram Highway and It is the high point of the Passu massif, which also includes Passu Diar (or “Passu East”, “Pasu II”). The peak lies on the main ridge of the Batura Muztagh, about 7 km (4 ml) east of Batura Sar. It was first climbed in 1978 by Max Wallner, Dirk Naumann, Ralf Lehmann, and Volker Wurnig.
