Batura Trek

Among the villager and the foreigners, Batura valley is well known for its summer herds and the best tourist spots. The Panoramic views of the Batura range with its ice flow and the Tibetan style of shepherds, huts attract hundreds of tourist every year. The local people engaged with the tourism industry have introduced the “Yak Safari” in the valley and now every year hundreds of tourist rash up to there to experience the unique travelling adventure. During the Safari you can observe the life of the mountain area community and can experience organic foods specially made from milk and the herbs shepherds used as a vegetable.

From south to the north on Karakarum Highway you will cross different areas. This is a program for nature lovers, during the drive up from Islamabad to Hunza on the way you can view the different landscape, people, and lifestyle in Mansera, Besham, Kohistan, Chilas, Gilgit and Hunza. Each area keeps its own identification.
Fairy Meadow is lush green plateau situated in the foot gin of Nanga Parbat at the Western edge of the Himalayan Range. The name Fairy Meadows is part of the legend that Fairies have their heaven on this lush green plateau. This legendary name Fairy Meadows is the everlasting gift of the western tourist to the local people. Fairy Meadow offers superb views of the Nanga Parbat (8125 m) the highest mountain in Pakistan in the Himalayas. (9th highest in the world)
