Description

NARAN: At 7,888 feet above sea level, Naran is the main centre of tourism in the Kaghan Valley. It is located 82 kilometers from Balakot. The town is situated on the bank of the Kunhar River at a point where the valley widens. The river is also quite smooth here and ideal for trout fishing and easy grade river rafting.
KAGHAN: is the name of most attractive valley in the Mansehra District of Hazara in the North West Frontier Province of Pakistan. This 160 km long valley is famous as one of Pakistan’s most popular summer holiday spots.

Kunhar River which is famous because of its trout fish flows through the valley and has towns of Balakot, Paras, Mahandari, Kaghan and Naran on its banks. The valley features pine forests, alpine meadows and crystal clear water lakes and cool mountain streams

ITINERARY

DAY 01: ISLAMABAD
Our guide and driver will pick you at the airport in Islamabad and departure for Balakot (approx 04 hrs drive) Gateway to the Kaghan valley via Abbottabad. Overnight stay at Balakot

DAY 02: BALAKOT – NARAN
Departure for Naran (approx 3 ½ hrs drive) This beautiful valley is situated on the lower Himalayan range and famous for its colorful panorama. Overnight stay at Naran

DAY 03: DAY EXCURSION TO LAKE SAIF-UL-MULUK
After breakfast visit of Lake Saif-ul-Muluk (by jeep) Lake Saif-ul-Muluk at an altitude of 3,224 m (10,578 feet) above sea level it is amongst one of the highest lakes in Pakistan. Overnight stay at Naran

DAY 04: DAY EXCURSION TO LALAZAR VALLEYS
After breakfast visit of Lalazar Valley (by jeep) this beautiful meadow is awash with colorful alpine flowers in spring and summer, and set amongst the cool pine forests. Overnight stat at Naran

DAY 05: NARAN – SHOGRAN
After breakfast departure for Shogran (approx 3 ½ hrs drive), one of the most beautiful plateaus in the whole area with an altitude of 7,749 feet 2,362 meters) above sea level. Overnight stay at Shogran

DAY 06: SHOGRAN – ISLAMABD
After breakfast visit of Siri Payee (45 minutes drive by jeep) Siri Payee is known for its lush green environment and picture post card location. The height of Siri Payee is 300 feet more than that of Shogran. Eveninig departure for Islamabad (approx 5 ½ hrs drive

DAY 07: ISLAMABAD
This will be your last day in Pakistan; visit Faisal Mosque, Pirshowaha, Margala Hills and the local market for shopping. In the evening drive to the airport and fly to destination.
